Delynn B. – Mid-Day Walker/Sitter

Over the years, Delynn has raised 4 kids, 6 dogs, 5 cats & been a foster home for 5 dogs & over 70 cats! To say she has the “touch” would be an understatement. Delynn is certified in Pet First Aid/CPR by Pet Tech.

Bella G. – Mid-Day Walker/Sitter

Bella has had  the priviledge of having dogs all her life.  All were rescues or strays and one, Hanibal, looked suspiciously cat-like especially when trailing the 5-headed ”dog-mob” to the front gate in a sideways bounding action, hissing in a barking-like fashion towards unsuspecting visitors.

After graduating from Capital University with a B.A. in Athletic Training she spent the following 10 years in Personal Training.

Health and Fitness is central to her life and, therefore, that of her dog Leilah, an 8 year old Boxer/Lab Mix.  It was caring for Leilah that brought her to the Wholistic Pet industry. Currently Bella is a proud staff member with Pet People in Westerville as well as a star sitter with Scales Tails & Paws.

Other than strength, cardiovascular fitness and nutrition her interests include family time, outdoor photography, illustrating children’s books, reading and taking the dog hiking and fishing . Bella is certified in Pet First Aid/CPR by Pet Tech.

Liz M. – Sitter

Liz is Ingrid’s mom and our go to person for holiday help. It is easy to see that a love of animals runs in the family! Liz, a RN/LSW, brings over 30 years experience with dogs, cats and horses-including retraining of OTTB’s- to the Scales Tails & Paws team.

She is currently owned by a German Shepherd named Gunny, 3 cats-  Clover, Junie & Tuffy and 2 horses- Lake & Bud.

Animals have been central to Krista’s life since she was young.  As a child,  she owned dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, horses and even a ferret!  She moved to Columbus 16 years ago , but she is a farm girl at heart and grew up in an agricultural community with grandparents and family friends  that owned cows, sheep, pigs, goats, and horses.  She also was active in 4-H as she was growing up.

She has spent the past 5 years bettering the lives of homeless pets in Central Ohio through a variety of volunteer activities at Citizens for Humane Action Animal shelter in Westerville. She can be found there answering phones, helping with special events, walking dogs, playing with cats, and helping with fundraising events .  She is also passionate about wildlife and is a docent and adult volunteer at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. At the zoo she educates the pubic about animal conservation and green living, helps with special events,  and assists with  fundraising activities.

She currently shares her home with a very spoiled yellow lab named Chelsie and looks forward to pampering your pets while you are away!
