Founder & CEO
Ingrid C.
As native of Westerville, I have been active in rescue work since I was a young child. Our family takes in foster animals when space allows or run transports to get animals out of kill shelters and into foster/forever homes. I first starting pet sitting for neighborhood pets at the age of 12.
My current furry family includes 8 cats- Princess (Leia) (who we fostered since she was a week old!), Bing, Skippy, Floof, Echo, Abigail & Bastet. In addition to our kitty crew, we have 5 dogs; Magic, a Rottweiler mix, Wallace, a German Shepherd mix, Winston, a Collie mix, Poe a Lab mix and Kennedy, a German Shepherd mix. Keeping things ever lively is our 17 ball pythons, Bredli python, Bearded Dragon, 2 Schneider Skinks and a Red Foot Tortoise.
I am a Certified Pet Tech Pet First Aid/CPR instructor (PTI #1667) and am dual trained in CPR/First Aid certified by PetTech and The American Red Cross. I am a foster/volunteer for RescuedOhio, a Be-A Tree presenter for youth dog safety and bite prevention as well as former Co-Chair on the NAPPS Pet Sitter Education Committee.

Dog Boarding Specialist
Josh L.
Josh grew up surrounded by animals—dogs at his side and horses in the barn—which laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for animal care. From a young age, he learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding different animal personalities. Those early experiences shaped his calm, confident approach and helped him develop a natural ability to connect with even the most sensitive pets.
With hands-on experience working with both dogs, cats, reptiles and horses, Josh brings a unique blend of strength, gentleness, and intuition to the Scales Tails & Paws team. Whether he’s soothing a nervous pup, managing high-energy play, or maintaining a smooth, structured environment, Josh ensures that every boarding guest feels safe, comfortable, and loved.
Today, he oversees the care of our boarding dogs, providing them with structure, enrichment, companionship, and a home-away-from-home experience. Clients love Josh’s steady presence, attention to detail, and the genuine affection he shows to every dog in his care.

Team Lead
Vyn
Hi, I’m Vyn! I have been moving my way through the animal care world for the past 5 years going from a holistic sanctuary for rescues, to traditional boarding and daycare, veterinary assistance, and now pet sitting! I carry my experience with me to each visit, being extremely detail oriented and establishing a solid foundation of trust and routine with all furry friends.
Animals have been a passion of mine since I was young, starting with our family pittie, Angel. She sparked something in me that has driven me to participate in rescue missions, work on my skills in obedience and behavior training, and further my knowledge of all different species. I have worked with dogs, cats, small rodents, horses, and some reptiles, but open to all!
My current little zoo consists of five cats (Freya, Bean, Gus, Lady, and Trixie), two dogs (Reggie and Roxie), and my bearded dragon Heff!

Andrea C.
My love for animals dates back to my early childhood. I seemed to stumble upon injured wildlife and try to help save them as a little girl. I am still this way as a grown adult when I see wildlife. Whether they are domesticated or in the wild I have had a deep connection with life’s creatures as long as I can remember. Even most of the art I do is inspired by nature and the beauty of animals.
In my view, “A house isn’t a home without a pet”. I grew up with both cats and dogs my whole life thus far. I currently have two Golden Retrievers named Emmet and Mabel. I also have a loving tabby cat named Opal. Being with and working around animals brings me much joy and is so rewarding. I love seeing all the different personalities that each one has! I have experience with all life stages of both cats and dogs. I even have a little farm experience caring for chickens and highlander cows. That was a fun experience!
My promise to you is to provide much love and quality hands on care for your furry family members that you feel at peace when I am spending time with them. When I have moments to myself I love being with my family. I also enjoy creating fiber art, hiking with my dogs, listening to music, and tubing or kayaking during the summer months.

Katelynn T.
Hey! My name is Katelynn, and I’m a huge animal lover who truly believes pets deserve patience, safety, and lots of love. I have a calm, nurturing approach and enjoy bonding with animals through play, walks, and all the cuddle time.
At home, I care for my own little family — a Jack Russell named Charlie, a bearded dragon named Emrys, and a cat named Lucy — so I’m experienced with different personalities, energy levels, and care routines.
In my free time, I love reading, crafting, and pretty much anything that keeps my hands busy. Whether it’s sticking to routines, giving medications, or simply providing comfort and companionship, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own

Pet Sitter
Hannah A.

Hannah brings professionalism, reliability, and dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of every pet under her care. Whether providing secure walks, or attentive in-home care, she takes every precaution to create a safe, stress-free environment for your pet.
When she’s not working Hannah loves to play with her two cats Rose and Aria, and chill with her pup Scarlett. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, nature hikes, and does Theater on the side.

Dog Walker
Tiffany Y.
Hi, I’m Tiffany! I’m an experienced and dedicated pet sitter with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals—dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, and small animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently share my home with my three pups: Zero, my Husky/Shiba Inu mix; Shadow, my Husky; and Rhea, my Mini Aussie. They’re 9, 6, and 10 (almost 11!) and definitely keep life fun and energetic.
I’m trained in pet CPR and first aid, skilled in medication administration, and have extensive experience supporting anxious pets and fear-aggressive dogs. Creating a calm, safe, and trusting environment is always my priority, and I take the time to understand each animal’s unique personality, needs, and routines. Whether it’s walking, feeding, administering meds, or simply spending time together, I treat every pet with the same patience and affection I give to my own.
When I’m not caring for animals, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, going to concerts, trying new foods, or relaxing at home with my dogs and a good video game.

CJ M.
Hey there! I’m Cj. I’m a lover of animals, art, nature, movies, television, and hair! Outside of caring for pets, I am also a hairstylist in Columbus. I like to describe myself as an omnivert, so caring for animals is a great way for me to recharge my introverted nature before extroverting at the salon in the evenings!
My favorite visits are peaceful mornings with cats that are happy to be brushed and read to. But don’t get me wrong, I also love running around with the energetic pups who need all the exercise! I’m a best of both worlds kind of person, and I look forward to meeting the beloved fur babies of the community!

Pet Sitter, Overnight Care
Anna M.
I’m Anna, a lifelong animal lover who enjoys caring for pets of all kinds. Along with personal experience, I also work part-time at a pet resort, which has given me practical skills in handling, monitoring behavior, and supporting pets with different needs. Pet sitting lets me bring that experience into a home setting, where I focus on reliable care, clear communication, and making sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and well-looked-after.
